She kept getting so distracted by all the other crises in her life that she forgot that that hell was coming for her. Imagine if Michael happened upon her right at the start of it? Then she’d be trapped in the Keep with him for months with no ability to leave whatsoever. Which he would be fully aware of. Gods.

She nodded reluctantly, doing her best to not piss on his sunshine. The dancing would be nice, she supposed. But not if she had to stay here. She couldn’t imagine the Ashes doing any sort of lively dance whatsoever. And what was the point of a solemn ‘dance’? There was none.
And she certainly wasn’t excited about the prospects of being forced to eat.
