"Right."

She nodded slowly and lowered her own finger.

Rifkin and Talia both held up a hand but didn't lower any fingers.

"And like..." Ky thought for a moment. "Like, 'never have I ever seen a...'." She hesitated, not sure how to finish that. She finally finished weakly, "Mountain cat?"

"Did I do it wrong? I'm sorry," Ky said quickly, then blinked when she saw he lowered his finger. "Wait, you have seen one?"

(Just reminded me we forgot Jerica and Them)

(Ohhhh)

"Yup. But you did it right! You gotta try and get everyone out so you're the last one standing, though."

"Oh." Ky nodded slowly.

"So... never have I ever been a little girl?" Rifkin said with a little smirk.

Talia gasped. "That's cheating!"

He chuckled, glancing at Emery to see if it was within the rules.

"Well never have I ever been a boy," Talia countered, putting one of her fingers down.

Ky put down a finger as well in response to Rifkin's, smiling.

Rifkin smiled and put his own finger down. "Fair's fair, I guess."

(Ah sorry that wasn't clear. She hadn't put one down to the girl comment because she was hoping Emery would say it was cheating. She finally put it down conceding defeat right as she was saying her own lol)

"...Do you have one?" Ky asked Emery, realizing he'd been skipped.

(Ahhh)

He thought for a moment. "Never have I ever had to make my own clothes."

Ky and Talia both put a finger down.

Rifkin glanced between them in surprise. But they were so young! Had they had to sew before they left home all those years ago?

"Never have I ever done it well," Ky muttered, then glanced up. "That's a joke. Not mine. Mine's... um... never have I ever had siblings."

Talia and Rifkin both put a finger down.

Ky grinned, pleased with herself, and glanced at Emery.

He put his finger down. "Found family. I wanted to know if it counts."

I always knew that deep down in every human heart, there is mercy and generosity. No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.
— Nelson Mandela, Long Walk to Freedom
