Bay returned with the messenger and the Lieutenant. "Ladies, he'll see you in his office now." He glanced at the soldiers. "Please see these gentlemen to a room."

He glanced at him, then at Talia, then blushed and dropped his gaze. He'd just get them both executed if he tried anything funny.
"Yes sir." Talia stood up and shrugged off her coat, laying it neatly across the arm of her chair. She was wearing a shimmering gold-colored dress with a scooped neck that went nearly to her belly button between her breasts. Her sandy-brown arms were toned and bare in the sleeveless cut. The gown went to her ankles but had a slit running up each side clear to her hip bones. There wasn't much left to the imagination.
Rifkin also glanced away, not wanting to see anywhere near that much of anyone who wasn't willing and much less of a child.
The other girls were wearing similarly revealing dresses -- a pale girl was wearing a hunter green dress with 'sleeves' that were slit all the way down and only buttoned just above her elbow with a boxy cut across her bosom that revealed most of it. That dress stopped just below her crotch. The third girl had rich brown skin and was wearing a sky blue dress in a tea-cut that also had a slit up to her hip but was slightly more conservative than the others. A wide array of options. They both also shucked their jackets and followed Talia towards the door as she led the way, always the ring leader.
Borrond watched them with a hungry look in his eyes.

Bay gave no reaction, making eye contact with Talia rather than looking anywhere else. "Follow me, please." He turned toward the door, keeping it open for them.

"Yes sir." She dipped her head and followed him out, the other two girls on her heels. Her heart fluttered and she had to focus on pretending to be relaxed. This wouldn't be so bad. Another man; another cock. She'd dealt with plenty. She just needed to make him feel like his was special.
Kaelan stared at the table, fingernails digging into his palms he was clenching his hands so tightly.

He led them upstairs. Emery was passing them on the way and he stopped short as they went by, turning on his heel to stare after them.
Gaius was still sitting in his chair, but where he'd kept his cane out of sight before he had it leaning against the desk in plain sight and he had both his hands on the desk, the right one curled sharply in to protect the damaged fingers. Best to look as small and non-threatening as possible, and unfortunately that meant revealing his more extreme weaknesses. He knew exactly what the messenger had meant by 'girls.' This was good, to a certain extent. He could free them easily since they'd been gifted to him. And he could potentially use them to prove to the Taral exactly what was going on.

(Aww poor Emery getting flashbacks "what the fuck is going on in Serpent Keep--" like obvi knows Gaius isn't sanctioning it but still)
Talia offered him a flirtatious smile and head nod and kept walking. He was attractive -- and young. Too bad he wasn't the Lord.

(I keep forgetting Bay is gay too the man is just a brick wall about everything But he is canonically in a relationship with his co-general once he becomes a general)
Emery looked absolutely devastated. He gave the back of Bay's head a questioning look.

(aww nice! My gaydar didn't pick that up but I am absolutely for it)
The girls didn't look back; he hadn't been identified as someone they needed to pleasure, and the Captain had kept walking. Best to keep up.

(Nobody could pick him up. He's incognito Like I said I keep forgetting)
Bay reached Gaius's office and knocked. "Enter." He opened the door for them.

Talia walked in first, eyes flicking around quickly before locking on the man behind the desk. Just him, then. That'd make it easier to please him. Three-on-one was a good ratio. Unless he just liked one of them, which was fine, too. Makata had intentionally chosen different body types to give him a selection to choose from.
She noticed his hand and cane immediately, wondering what that meant for his mobility. She may have to be flexible, then. Be the active participant. Unless he used sex to get his frustrations out. Hopefully not that.
Then her gaze landed on his face. He seemed old and grouchy, but he didn't radiate a cruel aura at all. Perhaps things would be okay. She smiled at him, making sure it was easy and looked genuine even though it wasn't.
The other girls smiled as well, staying close and a step behind her, but fanning out a step in either direction so all three would be easily visible. They knew the drill.

Gaius didn't return the smile, studying each of their faces carefully. His brow furrowed. So young. All of them were little more than teenagers. Barely even that. This should, by all accounts, be taken as two insults at once. The idea that he'd ever lie with anyone other than his wife and the idea that he'd be inclined toward children? Those assumptions were worthy of a strongly worded letter and several threats. But he needed to play it cool if the others were to be freed. "Hello," he said finally, taking a deep breath. "I trust Captain Bay has provided you with food and drink?"

"Yes sir," Talia answered, still smiling, though she was starting to doubt herself. What had they done to displease him already? "He's been most kind, thank you for your generosity, sir."

"I hope you didn't wear those all the way here." He glanced down at the outfits briefly. "It's far too cold for something like that."

"No sir," Talia agreed. "We changed a few miles from here." He didn't like the dresses, then? "...We could change again if something else would be more to your liking?" She slipped her thumb under the strap of her dress and pulled it down her shoulder, offering to take it off and watching his face to be sure that was what he wanted, revealing more of her breast as she did so.

"No," Gaius said sharply, eyes flicking away in an instant. "Listen to me. I'm very happily married; I have no intention of engaging with any of you, especially at your age." He chanced a look at her face. "The three of you are here in this room because I thought I ought to tell you rather than have my soldiers explain. I'm investigating Governor Makata in behalf of a young lady from Lytias. She and her friends were kidnapped by his soldiers a few years ago. I'm told Makata has....unconventional tastes. It seems it's true."
