Ky smiled a little, considering making a little jab about maybe he'd become as cool as Gaius someday and get a cane, then decided it was far too soon to be joking about something like that. "Alas."

Ky followed close behind. She knew fully well there was nowhere else to go -- no getting lost in a literal tunnel, and one this narrow no less. But she was still spooked and wanted to stay basically within arm's reach of her security. Even though he had a gimpy arm and may or may not actually be more of a threat than she was herself at this point.
