Tadaaki and Ky both followed him quietly, hoping that that was the right choice. It sort of felt like a test. Or an inconvenience. Or favor. She didn’t like favors. They always came due at the worst possible time.

It made Tadaaki feel better that Ky didn’t know the game either. It was still going to hurt his ego because she’d pick it up far, far faster than he ever could. But at least she wasn’t already an expert. There’d be a round or two before he looked awful.
