Ky looked at him for a moment then dipped her head. She was still so perplexed by how today had gone. Between the 'interview' turned interrogation to now wandering around with this man who had the audacity to call a Lord by his first name -- it was all a lot to take in.
But.
She'd figure it out.
She always did.
She'd get her feet under her, feel out where the sturdiness actually held rather than just trust where they said it was for appearances' sakes, and then drag Tadaaki up with her.
Well. Provided Aleth didn't figure out a way to kill them before Ash had him restrained.
And. Well. Provided they had a chance to figure things out before the consequences started. It was all fine and good to pretend you don't want adoration until you decide that being ignored hurts your feelings and lash out at everyone in hopes of getting attention.
She'd just need to figure out where his triggers were, then build a little box around them to be sure neither she nor Tadaaki stepped on them by accident.
She didn't believe for a moment that Captain Bay would hesitate to yank her fingernails off if that's what Ash asked of him. She'd rather avoid that if she could.
