Haha, yeah it´s weird that name, but literally, kids are going around from door to door, singing that song and having paper lanterns that they made themselves and getting chocolate in the end.

Not really. It´s in February and kids don´t wear costumes.

Yeah, it´s weird. I know that it´s a regional thing even in some parts of France, but there are other strange things like usually in March we are burning a stray castle.

What does that mean?

It´s something from back before Christianity was there. When Germans were wild and rough bad people. xD We burn the winter with it and say hello to the spring. The castle also looks like a cross.
