Now that's a suggestion! I usually imagine when I am being lazy.

Difficult to explain. It's simply this fascination with cultures. Geography for me is not only what an area looks like, the mountains or the lakes, which I also find very fascinating, like the Great African Lakes, plate tectonics, oceans, etc... but also borders, imaginary lines that remind us of a past where people made decisions that were not right, imaginary lines that separate us from each other, imaginary lines that tell us a story, tears and suffering, but also hope and joy.

I don't know how to describe it, but geography as well as history always makes me feel right, it gives me goosebumps and a warmth when I think about it. It's a nostalgia that arises in me and keeps me awake. Why? Why like this and not like that? Geography is a part of human history... I think in the end it is also this interconnectedness between the earth and the human being.

If at any time it gets too much for you, feel free to go to The Tavern. :D

I never saw it like that. I mean I never connected geography with history and cultures. But its true. Geography is places, and places have history. I am always fascinated with history. And you make geography sound so interesting. I guess it all depends on the questions you ask and what you see in that subject.

What is the tavern?
