Contradictions? I believe in a multiverse and some type of force that makes things work and yet that could be a mix of forces too... (Taking gravity as a force.)
Yeahhh, the homophobia was the nail in the coffin for me. I got told rainbows don't represent the LGBTQ community -- they're God's promise to never destroy the world again, not a beacon of pride for the people that are the reason god destroyed the world to begin with.

haha right? I used to be hyper-religious so I know alllll the theology and I go in fists swinging now xD

That was actually the thing that got me out of religion. They are all super conservative, like women stay in the kitchen, get children and be religious and shut up and all other ideas are forbidden.
I hate that the so-called religion of love is so against everything. When I first came home with a girl as girlfriend (?) do you call that so, the whole village was like "She´s insane". That was the moment when I thought I should be more and more unorthodox.
Nowadays I accept religion, they are needed as long as power isn´t misused in a human form. Religion is a philosophy of hope not the showing of glory.
