Ky nodded, maybe a bit too long. She didn't know what to say to that. She supposed Zander needed to meet the rest of the family between now and then. And... also... yeah, she had nothing. That sounded like choices and opinions and she continued to dislike both of those things. "Makes sense."

(Just read your BFF post, got big feels again! I'm so glad the rp means a lot to you; it means a lot to me too. I've missed roleplaying with these characters and it's really helped me work through some different plot points as well as come up with new ones!)
"So what are you in the mood for?" Tomhas crossed his legs. "Games? More hanging out with everybody? Stalking the kitchen for berries and sweets?"

Ky imagined another kitchen raid, but this time with the king involved. It was embarrassing. But also a funny thought and she giggled at it.
“I want berries!” Tasia announced.
Ky hesitated, then nodded. It did seem like that would be good. And maybe if Ms. Ana was still there she could introduce her to Zander. “That sounds good to me, too.”

"Welll, I actually don't know. I haven't had a berry craving in awhile. Let's find out!" He dashed put the door, leaving Harold rather at a loss. "Does he do this often?" he asked.

“Berrrrriiiiiieeeessss!” Tasia sprinted after Tomhas.
Aashi ran after her; and Tadaaki followed close behind wishing his family would just stop behaving like this.
Ky glanced at the king, not sure how to answer that. Would it embarrass Tomhas if she said yes? But, then… he had just done it in front of the king himself. “I mean… yeah, kinda.”
She started after the pack quickly at a not-quite-run.
Zander laughed. Oh, this would be a fun household for Ky to join. If the Lord was running in his own Keep — he sprinted forward and shoved Ky. “Tag! You’re it!”
And then he was gone, Ky running after him.

Harold watched them go, absolutely bewildered. "Right, then." He stayed where he was, deciding he wasn't willing to dispense of propriety just yet. He had an image to maintain, after all.

"I KNOW HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME!" Tasia suddenly whirled around.
Zander was sprinting at full speed as Tasia stepped squarely into his path. He tried to stop, but there wasn't time nor space, so he did his best to swerve around her, but she was oblivious to her imminent demise. He managed to hop to the right around her so he didn't plow her over, but the momentum did trip him and he hit the ground on his shoulder -- but he rolled and popped back to his feet in an instant.
"Tasia!" Aashi scolded.
Tasia was staring with wide eyes that were starting to tear up. He'd scared her.
"You're not it!" Zander said playfully, but he was winded from the heart attack. But he darted forward and tapped her shoulder. "You are now, though!"
He ran forward, but much slower this time. Tasia chased him with a shriek of delight.

Tomhas was still ahead, and leaped down the stairs--not repeating his tumble from the last race. He rounded the corner, heading for the kitchen. "Keep up!" he yelled over his shoulder.

(Meanwhile, Zander, have literally just met everyone and should be trying to make a good impression -- tag? Yes.)
Zander got to the stairs a few moments later and got down a few steps before it struck him that Tasia was barreling after him as fast as she could. Would she have the presence of mind to slow--?
Nope.
He turned around as Tasia launched herself off the top stair, directly at him.
He caught her mid-air and then tucked her under his arm and rushed down the stairs with her in his arm. "HAHAHA YOU'RE MINE NOW!"
She shrieked, giggling happily.
Ky had managed to get around Tadaaki and Aashi and sprinted down the stairs next, followed by the two of them. They were rushing too, but had stopped properly running. They'd all get to the same end eventually.

Tomhas was losing steam as he drew close to the kitchen, and he began to slow. He could smell the pie baking, though, and that spurred him on.

Zander had also slowed a bit, weighed down by the squirming, shrieking little girl in his arms. And then he had an idea. He sprinted forward quickly, holding Tasia up.
She slapped Tomhas's shoulder and screamed in his ear. "TAG YOU'RE IT!!!"
Then she slapped Zander's arms. "GO GO GO GO!"
He slowed long enough to set her down. "You're on your own."
She shrieked and sprinted away as fast as she could.

"Agh!" Tomhas plodded after them, arms outstretched. "You've doomed me!"

Zander laughed and stepped out of the way. Ky slowed as she approached him. They both kept on at a quick walk, but they were starting to get winded, and Ky was still clutching the box for dear life and it was hard to run with both arms crossed over a box pressed against your chest.
