Good question! I wonder if we could have the secret be accidentally revealed there? Like Mage is helping Soul check to make sure he's physically okay after everything, and someone accidentally works in?

Lol...that seems like the only way that this secret will be revealed And hmm Vankous is probably the only one who could walk in accidentally. The others can see through walls xD so they'd check before walking into like a locked room xD. Vankous on the other hand would probably try to spy without being noticed and just like clumsily stumble in by accident.

Well Vankous decided to do the right thing after a while...I just didn't think he'd fully go through with it...so I ended up using a tiny twist of fate instead xD But he is now inside the room xD

I had to think for a while about what the reactions would be...and I realized ultimately they wouldn't react after all. Because like Soul's face wouldn't necessarily be something too far out of the ordinary to them xD. Esp Harry would assume the secret is some sort of scar or something on the face as opposed to the face itself.

As the writer I was very surprised though xD

xD...the surprise certainly works. Just that it seemed unlikely to work on these two. Cause even like Vankous when it comes to secrets is going to assume its about something nefarious and this of course is not. xD

And oooh...so I was actually initially writing the whole Harry and Jennifer discuss the arrival of the creature thing just to fill up the dialogue...but i'm thinking...to move the plot forward, maybe we can actually have them go question the hotel people to see how the thing got to the streets like that? Maybe have them do some mystery solving and track it back to the pirates? If I remember correctly, we did decide this thing was released by the pirates right?
