"I thought you owned this mansion," Johnny stared at the frog skeptically, "Why the heck is Jealousy here claiming it all to be a trap?" He asked, his voice beginning to rise.
“Nevermind that.” Alexander picked up the Muppet by his remaining arm. “You’re lying, good sir. I suggest you tell us the truth before things get ugly.”
Ana sidled up next to Johnny and held him tight. “..I’m scared.” She whispered.
“Well, gee, I suppose I should come clean. I am working with Jealousy.” Kermit sighed. “I knew it! I knew it! This frog is a heathen!” Alexander hissed. “Wait, wait, I can help you get out of here, alive and well!”
Ana turned to Johnny, tears in her eyes. “..I don’t want to die, and I don’t want you to die all over again.” She whispered.
Johnny's eyes widened as he looked at Dally. God... he was dead. They both were... and Ana. "I-I--" Johnny's voice began to crack up, "I don't know what would happen if I go back..." He gulped back the lump in his throat. He looked at Ana, his eyes huge and shiny, "I don't wanna leave you," he whispered.
Ana sniffled and nodded. “I know, I know. I don’t want to, either.” She wiped the tears from her eyes and took in a deep breath. “Can..can I kiss you?”
Alexander had started sniffling, too. “I..I just got..pollen in my eyes.” He muttered.
Johnny stared at Ana for a moment. He wanted to kiss her. To feel her warm lips against his. But... it would only make it more painful for him if he left. If. God, he hated that word. Y'know what? Screw it. He was dead anyway, and he loved Ana. His heart began to feel like it was about to thump out of his chest as he got closer to Ana until he could feel her breath against his face. "Y-yeah," he whispered softly. He pressed his lips against hers without a care in the world.
Ana’s eyes flew open; she had been wanting to make the first move, but this..this was preferred, she admitted to herself. She kissed back with as much passion as she could manage. Kermit covered his eyes with his remaining hand and turned away. “Oh, gee..I feel awful. This is all my fault.” Alexander picked him up by his triangular collar and punted him across the garden. Kermit’s screams faded the further away he got. “Let’s..give the two of them some space.” He told Emile. Spoiler
Let's..give the two of them some... Dally could hear muffled voices while in his darkness. Man, I didn't think someone could die twice, he thought to himself, wincing at the burning hot- yet ice-cold- pain in his leg. He took in a shuddered breath. Dammit, Dally. This is what you get for helping people... yet again. He groaned loudly as he struggled to pull himself out of the pitch-black void he was in.
Johnny nodded, the lump in his throat returning. "Y-yeah." Dally's eyes snapped open. "I'm dead, ain't I?" Dally muttered. Johnny managed a smile. "No, you're still alive," he replied. "Oh lordy, we're still in this hellhole?" He asked, feeling around his leg. "Yep, but I wouldn't be touchin' that if I were you," Johnny warned. Dally was trying to sit up. "I wouldn't be doin' that either." Dally looked at Johnny skeptically. "I got out of a hospital with a broken arm and managed to beat the crap outta them Socs, I ain't too worri--" Dally's eyes widened as pain pierced through his leg. "Told ya." "Now don't you be smart-mouthin' me Johnnycake," Dally managed through clenched teeth. He looked over at Johnny again and realized he had his arm around Ana. Dally smirked for the hundredth time that day, "Am I invited to the wedding?" Dally joked, leaning on his elbow.
