Harriet watched the drama unfold. From the moment they had summoned dinner things had got completely out of hand and she'd just sat and watched, stunned at the magnitude of what was going on.
There was a sudden flash of light next to her and a boy appeared out of thin air. He smiled. "Harriet Danvers?"
"Yes," said Harriet, narrowing her eyes.
"Perfect. If you could just hold my hand," he said.
"What?" she asked, suspicious.
"Mortals," he said, with a sigh. He put a finger on her shoulder and the two vanished in a flash of brilliant blue light.
