Emile gasped as he saw it. Boxes falling from the ceiling at a person’s command? It was silly to think about, but...

‘Is magic... real..?’ he thought, looking at the people.

“I don’t recommend puffing those,” Ana pointed at the cigarette. “Those are bad for your lungs. The damage can be irreversible if you start young.”

Two Tootsie Pops showed up her hand, and she handed one to each boy. “You can still look tough with the stick hanging out of your mouth, and it’ll taste a lot better than tobacco.”

Dally and Johnny looked at each other and looked around. "I ain't seein' no smokin' signs around here, hon'" Dally pointed out, blowing a perfect smoke ring.
"Uh-huh," Johnny tried to agree, looking at the Tootsie Pop. He unwrapped it and began to suck on it, the cigar in his hand now vaporizing.
"The frick are you doing, kid?" Dally whispered a bit angrily.
"You oughta try one of these, they're pretty good," Johnny whispered back. "Thanks-- Ana, was it? These are purdy tuff," Johnny said to Ana.
"Gimme that--" Dally snatched it out of Johnny's mouth and took a lick, "Dang that is pretty good," He said, his eyes widening.

Emile repressed a snicker. These people had never had Tootsie Pops before? Where were they even from? No- those were rude thoughts. He didn’t want to be rude. After thinking for a moment, he decided to go up and talk to the group. Maybe he’d make some friends!

“Um... hi! I don’t suppose you guys know the way around this place, do you?”

"Not really!" Pinkie leaped. "We just came here! Everyone's so amazing though- the party is awesome!!" She threw her head back and began singing.

"In a scary mansion, a group of strangers
Bond with each other through food and drinks!
Everybody's laughing, talking,
New people come in before you can blinkkkk!"

And she goes on.

"Any o' you from the East side?" Johnny asked. Everyone stared back at him blankly.
"Johnny, I don't think they're from Oklahoma in the 60s," Dally whispered.

Emile laughed, smiling.

“Aww, haha! I didn’t know we were doing a musical number!” he joked. He then glanced at the two southern seeming people.

“...Wait, are you two from the past?? That’s SO COOL!!”

“I’m from Twenty-twenty,” Ana answered. “I don’t recommend traveling there for a vacay.”

“Nineteen-sixty? Twenty-twenty?” Alexander went pale. “My god.”

"Y'know, do you like beatin' innocent people up for fun or do ya like to defend yourself against those who beat up innocent people for fun?" Dally asked.

"Johnny here done killed a Soc. Then he got burned down in a fire in a church. And then he died. And then I robbed a grocery store in vain of his death. And then I got shot by the police," Dally smiled.
