Just thought maybe I should elaborate a little from my post in the introduction section, if I'm going to be haunting this place for a while. :roll:

:?: What do I write?

I write just about anything but x-rated material, solid romance or solid horror. Barring that, I will write anything that comes to mind that I feel will be worth spending the next several years of my life on.

:?: What am I writing now?

A mix of things, actually. I've got one "regular" fiction (pretty normal material... I guess you could call it drama of sorts) in the works that should have at least two books to it, and one (hopefully massive) fantasy work. I also have a LOT of material for a science fiction, but I've been fighting with it for probably over five years now, and there's no sign of my sorting it out any time soon. :? I've also got a story that was originally intended for a video game, which I'm thinking now of giving away as a freebie online to generate interest in my site (which I won't disclose since it's empty and lame right now). And then I have another story which is almost complete fluffy feel-goodery... which is normally against my writing rules of conduct, but which I may write anyhow if I can write it well. ^.^;

A bit more about me... I quit my job at the end of last year (thereabouts) to write full time. I'm not sure when I'll be published, but for me it's sink or swim now, so here's hoping it'll work out for the best. Wouldn't recommend that method generally speaking though. Most of us have to make money to live. Hmm... does that make me a "starving artist?" ^,^;

If I had to give one piece of advice to other writers, it would be don't quit your job, unless you understand you will not be making any money, and have a means to live until you are.

If I could give other writers a second piece of advice, it would be GET TO BED!! In this crazy life, the brain is reluctant enough to operate as it is, without one depriving it of sleep. Getting sufficient sleep so that you can not lay around in bed all day, and so that your brain will actually work for a change, is most important. One year into this thing and I'm still unable to get myself to bed at a human hour... and my brain feels it the next morning. But after seeing my writing at it's best, I'm willing to fight the good fight. :lol:

Any questions? :roll:

Haha! Feel gooderness?? Nice. lol No, I have no questions, and I understand what you mean about staying up in the wee hours of the morning. I'm guilty of the SAME thing, but I'm not so much concerned with quitting my job (as a student in the 9th grade) but I will DEFINANTLY (sp?) be going to bed at 8 to 9ish from now on. lol

I look forward to reading some of your work. You sound as though you have some previous experience with this (being as you're looking to get published hopefully) so I expect the best of the best from you. Ok? lol See you...uh...whenever. :D

Bye!
