I finished my post. It's shorter than I would've liked but- I didn't really know what else to write. Hope y'all like it!

It's good. I like that you came up with a good reason to bring the son along. While he might not be too much safer with the pirates, he's not a sitting duck like he would have been at home.

And yup, that was pretty good. So the big question is...what needs to happen next?

I’d say probably a good old discussion about what to do next, perhaps figuring out a plan with the assumption “I’m sure we’ll be fine” despite the fact they haven’t done this sort of thing in years.

I just can’t help but think it would be funny if they went to rob somewhere all serious and then it all goes completely wrong.

Yeah, I think that would be funny, I can imagine them fumbling around because of security advancements they hadn’t been paying attention to because they hadn’t been planning on turning back to crime.

OOooh I do love the idea of everyone trying to rob something without knowing a thing about how security had changed. It certainly has the potential to be hilarious.

Or even one character is lining up their wacky space gun and then realising “goddamit, I left my glasses at home”

Not sure, unfortunately. I don't remember what's exactly going on anymore. I'll try to get everything straight later today. It seems that JoyDark is busy, so I'm not sure what we can do. Do you have any ideas?

Umm...I think its been quite a while now since a post, so we should try and regroup a little on where we wanted to go, maybe do a check to see who's still available and who's not, then take a decision from there.
