I turn left,
you swerve right,
different direction
constantly.
Every now and again
we cross back,
just for a moment
we see each other
and smile peacefully,
but a moment later we're driven
in opposite directions again.

Who are you, stronger,
peering back at me?
Your eyes glint with danger,
chance saturating your aura.
You step before the shy girl
Who used to watch her every step,
You mind your dreams
before all.
Your chest puffed out,
You stand tall,
smiling, daring for those
to challenge your desires.
You're unpredictable,
someone I've yet to know,
but I hope you stay,
reflect your bravery
upon my soul.

The Race

Drip drip,
the water runs,
down the windowpane
racing each other
to the same end.
Each will get there
in their own time
then together mesh
and settle to bide their time

Lingers in my heart,
What we had was beautiful,
Worth to try again.

This sea has been rough
But we have repaired our boat,
let's both float to shore.

The sun is now bright,
Our love is now fresh and anew,

Snack Assualt

The chips scream,
the ice cream begs,
I can't get these temptations
out of my head!
The journey from my room
is a dangerous one,
for the cupboard looms,
begging for my attention
to its contents.
"I'm not hungry!"
I cry,
I'm just bored,
and craving a fry.
My mind has to be strong,
have to do what I can,
before I waddle out
of this long stay in.

A glimmer of hope
shines in the dark,
a sliver of peace,
a possibility of reality.
One day things will return,
will be normal once again,
until I breathe and look out
the moon that smiles
over me with its gentle light.

No matter the color,
no matter the size,
even though we're different,
one of a kind;
together we stand,
hand in hand,
a sea of purple
surrounding our hope.

Challenge Accepted

Taunts and teasing,
all of those
who were disbelieving,
created a power
greater than envisioned.
They were absorbed,
transformed,
passions lit up
and she overcame them.
The girl who was doubted
came out on top,
conquering the mountain of
disbelief made to tower her.

My eyes are heavy
my bones are weak,
hours awake
has made me meek;
to bed I arrive,
eager to lay,
