nor be exultant over what you have gained..."

Spoiler
Great job staying on track throughout NaPo! It makes the perfectionist in me happy ;) Your poems have continued to be strong, rich in theme, and packed with emotion. I'm continually inspired by the way you're able to convey emotion in your poetry, Arc. My favorite poem from the past few is probably Poem #14 because of the apt way it describes emotions so well, and the way it ends on a hopeful note. Once again I can't wait to read more from you!

for only an evening, or a morning thereof."

[Poem #19 - sunlight graces the rose-garden]

"And He it is who has caused waters to come down from the sky;
and by this means have We brought forth all living growth,
and out of this have We brought forth verdure.
Out of this do We bring forth close-growing grain;
and out of the spathe of the palm tree, dates in thick clusters;
and gardens of vines, and the olive tree, and the pomegranate:
[all] so alike, and yet so different!
Behold their fruit when it comes to fruition and ripens!
Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for people who will believe!"

"...and say 'We believe in that which is sent down to us
and that which is sent down to you;
our God and your God is the same One God...'"
