The Carnivore

Lilly looked back at him, trying to read his thoughts like she did with animals, but she couldn't figure it out. Until she noticed his lips pucker. Her heart pounded stronger.

RedBear's lips puckered more. Before even realizing, he pressed them against Lilly's. When he realized,he wanted to pull away, yet at the same time, he didn't want it to end.

Lilly froze, and her eyes widened in surprised, before sliding shut again, and she sank into the kiss. Her arms wrapped around his neck, keeping him there, she was afraid he'd pull away to early.

RedBear's other arm wrapped around her. Everything else seemed to disappear.

Lilly snuggled closer, her lips staying on his, as Carol came in to pick up Lilly. "My god! I knew you guys would be close," she joked, laughing.

RedBear was so lost in the kiss he didn't notice Carol.

Carol stepped closer to them, holding in laughter when she tapped on Lilly's shoulder. Lilly looked up at her slowly and her entire face went deep red, making Carol burst in laughter. "I came to pick you up," Carol said between chuckles. "How did I know I'd walk in on something like this?"

RedBear finally noticed Carol and wanted to hide his face. But RedBear just stared at her, his face completely red.

Lilly's arms stayed around Redbear's neck when she replied to Carol, "I didn't realize it was time to go so soon." Making Caro l laugh again, "Of course you didnt, silly," she said, " That's the best and worst part of being in a relationship that you're actually happy with. Time seems to fly by. " Carol smiled and nodded toward the window, light shining through the curtains.

RedBear regretted not locking the door. "What else do you have to say?" RedBear said, no longer looking at Carol.

Silver climbed a tree outside of Redbears house and crouched on a limb "its a nice day today.....finally starting to get cold..." He closed his eyes and enjoyed the cool air before looking over and seeing Carol "the hell is she doing here?" Silver sat down and watched through the window

"Well, I gotta get Lilly. We agreed one night, so I've come to pick her up," Carol said, smiling, "You look annoyed, Red. She can come back and visit."

"Okay. " RedBear looked at Lilly. "Well I'll see you next time. " RedBear smiled.

Lilly smiled back, "See you next time," she said, standing and grabbing her bag. She followed Carol out the door and waved one more time before leaving.

RedBear watched Carol and Lilly leave. He sensed Silver outside ed and looked at the tree. "You coming inside or what?" RedBear watched Lilly and Carol drive off and he frowned slightly.
