Lilly aimed the gun at Kara, and without hesitating, shot multiple times at his chest, stomach, neck, and face. The entire time she shot, hot tears ran down her cheeks, dripping onto her coat, her face red with rage. She stopped when she realized they weren't there anymore, looking embarrassed.

"I wish I could do that. There are so many ways I could've changed my life if I could do that." Flashbacks of her mother dying in her arms rushed through her mind, tears blinding her.
