Lilly looked around, and as soon as she called, "Xeroll! Come here, boy!" the wolf lept at her, licking her face and wagging his tail with joy. Lilly giggled, scratching his ear.
"Hold on, lemme check," Lilly said, turning toward Xeroll, "Bonjour, Xeroll. Comment ca va?" she asked the dog, and he grunted, then made a soft barking sound, and Lilly nodded, "Yeah, it works."
"Didn't know you were French to Xeroll. You should have told me. " RedBear joked. "Do you have powers Xeroll? I'm assuming this due to the fact you're a demon dog. "

Lilly smiled up at him, "That's the only language I can talk to them with," she laughed, turning to Xeroll to translate RedBear's question, and turned back to RedBear, "He said he can morph our minds to see him as anything he wants, but he can only do that to the people he wants to fool."
"Hmm interesting. " Smoke surrounded RedBear and he morphed into an exact copy of Xeroll. The smoke cleared and he looked at Lilly. "Can you understand me? " Then to Xeroll. "Can you?"
