I'm leaning towards 30, but if I write any less, I won't be mad.

Hopefully 30 this year. ^^

I do have some titles for more than 30 poems, aha, and so I’m hoping to have some fun writing this April.

Okay, here are my goals!

I am currently in the process of finishing my second poetry novel. This is sort of a second part to the one I finished during NaNo and got printed last year. My book is currently about 70 pages long. I am aiming for about 50-100 more poems to be included in my book before I consider it finished. Most of the poems I write for NaPo will be included in the book, so I am aiming for 2-3 poems per day. This will give me 60-90 new poems. Of course, this is very flexible and I may not include all of them and end up having my novel be a lot shorter… (my last one is over 350 pages and was quite thick!)

Besides that project, I really want to improve my poetry writing this April. This will include reading poems online and perhaps purchasing a couple of published poetry books. I absolutely love Spoken word poetry, so I am aiming to write more spoken poems and record them as well. I love branching out and trying different styles of Free Verse. I want to try more animation and recorded video poetry. Perhaps a digital drawn and animated video would be fun too. Or a script-line poem, or poetry RP. The opportunities are endless :D
Who's to say that my light is better than your darkness? Who's to say death is better than your darkness? Who am I to say?

I hope to write at least 15 poems this year — I will be busy with work, but I’d even want to try harder in just doing voice/dictated voices if I don’t have time to sit down and write :)
