Wow, could you possibly sound even more enthusiastic? But I love that movie too. Mononoke Hime was how I got into Japanese movies instead of just the anime TV series that we get in Canada. I was even going to sing the theme song for my theatre school audition, mostly in English, but stick in some Japanese lines.

Dumbo - It's an absolute tear jerker. I didn't think much of it until I saw it when I was older, and then oh! The tears!

Toy Story - The sheer creativity of it all inspired me to become a writer. XD

Beauty and the Beast - Simple story, yet sweet.

Lion King - One of my favorites. Powerful story telling.

Spirited Away - Awesome story telling with out the cliched Americanized plots.

The Last Unicorn - It stayed true to the book. And that is one of the BEST stories period.

Lion King - Timon and Pumba are my heros, I cried when I first saw it at age like 6. I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts...

The Incredibles - was rather clever and funny

Shark Tale - sweet jesus that was worth the 7 dollars for a movie ticket

Shrek and Shrek 2: 'really?' 'really, really.' and 'i don't even have toes' 'snot mine' loved them both. I even have a 'Fear Me if you Dare' Puss shirt

Sleeping Beauty: the evil queen in that kicked major ass, when I was little I wanted to be her

Alice in Wonderland: I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date...

Lady and the Tramp: who can resist Spagetti?

The Sword and the Stone: one of my top favs, oh man the hag was funny and her fight with merlin was a riot

The Jungle Book: sweet...the bear-nessities! I loved the vultures.

Robin Hood: ranks right under Beauty and the Beast at number 2, fantastic is all I have to say.

The Rescuers: Go mice!

Aladdin: I heart magic carpets and Robin Williams as the genie, and the parrot but I can't remember his name

Mulan: another of my favorite favs. I heart Shang and the grandmother. and I think anything eddie murphy's voice is in rocks.

The Emperor's New Grove: the waterfall scene. full stop.

Treasure Planet: enjoyed it immensely. Morph was cool.

Sinbad: It had me at 'Go Spike!'

Ducktales: who can resist?

Peter Pan: cute film

Ice Age: what a laugh...I liked the tigers and the mamoth


I just have a firm belief that Disney sucks at sequels. So to recap, top three Beauty and the Beast, Robin Hood, and The Sword in the Stone, my top three.

The ones I detest -

Bambi: made me cry and dislike it so bad as a child, now I dislike watching it...pseudomind warping going on there.

Snow White: the queen was okay, but I still dislike it greatly.

Spirited Away -- is one of my favorites because it was the first japanese movie i had watched and accually got into it
bambi -- it just wasn't like all the other disney movies but i still got scared when stuff happned
and i don't really watch any other animated movies

I have to agree on Spirited Away, which was a wonderfully done film. But I'd also like to add in another by the same guy, Miyazaki; Princess Mononoke. THAT was an awesomely excellent film as well.

ACTUALLY, Disney closed down it's cell animation divison. I think they're only continuing on with pixar for CG animation now. They might do some stuff in 2-D, but I doubt it'll be quite the same. It sucks, 'cuz I mean, cell animation was a true blue bonified ART. I mean, CG is too, but I don't really feel as though it has quite the same essence as cell animation.

An American Tail (I still get goosebumps when they sing 'somewhere out there')
Grave of the Fireflies (Proves that anime can tell just as great a story as a full motion picture)
Cindarella (Just for the sureal feeling you get when she is running away)
Snow White (Awesome dragon fight)
Bambii (Poor bambii)
Fantasa (The dancing brooms scared the crap outta me when I was little, but it still deserves a spot in the top10)
Lion King (Overall its great, but it lacks something that the older stuff had, I cant put my finger on it)
Beauty and the Beast (A song as old a rhyme... Beauty and the beast!!!)
Spirit: Stallion of the Cemeron (I like it, so what?)
Akira (The stand alone anime movie sensation. Probably the most acclaimed anime title)
