I'm pretty new to poetry considering all the lovely talent on this website, but it could be a learning experience, so I'll try my hand at it. Sign me up to be a competitor, please.
Your poems are wonderful. If you haven't competed in something like this before, it's not as scary as it first sounds. You get a notification from one of the judges and they usually give you a 48hour window reminder for a poem you can enter, and then, whatever happens, happens, but it tends to be super fun because you meet people, you learn new things, more people read your works and comment on them, and you might even get surprised how far you end up!"Writing, though, belongs first to the writer, and then to the reader, to the world.
