YWS Birthday Week: Event Information

Chances are the WriterFeedPad where it was hosted is no longer available, and that's why it's not letting you get to it.

@LittleLee if you've changed your username since joining the site, unfortunately WriterFeedPad will need you to login using your original username as it doesn't recognise that your name has been changed. If you are keeping your new name permanently then you can send a PM to Nate and he will change it for you when he gets a chance.

NEXT EVENT!

The annual Dragons vs Monkeys battle will take place in the YWS chatroom this weekend, but which quiz team will reign supreme for 2017?

If you've not attended before, all new comers are welcome to choose a side in the YWS Mascot wars and throw their support to the legendary Bartemius the Monkey or the infamous Horace the Dragon.

The quiz will occur twice and it is the same quiz so you can only participate in one event! Please see below for a reminder of the times and remember to come into chat wearing your team colours - red for the monkeys or green for the dragons. The points for the two quizzes will be added up at the end of the night and the winners will get a limited edition YWS badge and official bragging rights for a whole year!

@Rydia - I think the date code is incorrect: the first one reads as Saturday the 11th, 8pm for me, which was 40 minutes ago by my timezone. The second reads as 11:30 pm, also on the 11th.

Hopefully it's working now, but I've added the time in UTC just in case!

Just 1 hour to go until Round 1 begins! Round 2 will be in 4.5 hours - hope to see some of you there!

And I realized that when I tried to open it, the poetry jam wasn't closed...

That's odd! Are you able to open other Writer Feed Pads? If you click Me at the top and then WriterFeed Pad does that work? @LittleLee

YWS is turning 13 this year and what better way to celebrate is a contest! In this, you must write a sentence using only thirteen words and enter only ONE. Submit sentence in the thread.

You have until 11/13/2017 03:00 GMT to submit your work!

The winner will receive 250 points, second place will receive 200 points, and third place will receive 150 points! Have fun and if you have any questions, let me know!
