I can post next but I don't want to throw too much on the scene that is already taking place.

You could either come in as a bystander, watching the savaging unfold as the police arrive and remove the werebear from the scene, or you could wait for a while as the characters already there go through the scene, and perhaps meet with them after, when Jake has heard about the mauling via social media. Which would you prefer?

I could have him come by as a by stander. I was thinking about him arriving home with groceries and getting arrested since he's got white fur and is a pred. If we are going off of extreme aggression then it wouldn't be too far fetched for him to get arrested as a "Preventive" measure.

That could happen if reports to the police got blurred and they went after two white-furred creatures rather than the actual one.

And if he was arrested, the other characters could be taken in for questioning (because the police will pick on them because of their collars) and can try to free him by vouching that he wasn't there. From there, they could work together to further the plot by getting deep in those conspiracy theories.

So if you post after the arrest has happened, and arrive in the police station as the other characters are in the waiting room?

I could post now as the police are arriving. Just have a vehicle from the other direction and an officer arresting him. Jake could be being processed while the others are brought in.

I'm going to go ahead and post now. @KaiRyu and @alwayshelenaist - there's no rush for your characters, but they'll just have to be stitched into the story at the police station.
