Hello everyone, this is so exciting to be a part of a Writers Society like this, and - in case y'all can't tell - I am VERY excited! I adore authors such as Louisa May Alcott, Agatha Christie and Jane Austen, so if I tend to follow their way of thinking...please bear with me. ;) Thank you all. (Or anyone who actually read this :shock: :D)

Agatha Christie is among the long list of my liked authors but I can't say that I like Austen or Alcott. If your writing follows in their styles, that's great.

Every time I’ve gotten feedback that was hard to take it was usually hard to take because there was truth in it and I didn’t like that (or didn’t want to receive it). That’s not to say all harsh feedback is good or that we should be harsh for harshness’ sake, but learning to absorb truth without letting it break your inner core/break you is a lifelong skill that keeps your mind elastic and open to learning.
