Everyone! Chapter 3 has concluded, and it has been our best chapter yet!

Whoever writes the first post of Chapter 4 needs to include a bit of a time skip so we can get over the whole "Newcomers to our island we must capture you" shtick. I'd like this jump to be 6 months, making our band of heroes the forefront fulfillers of the need of the Fae Warfront. We will be taking quests, hunting for Guelan, and wiping out the Danu.

Meanwhile, Larrel's group will be on the hunt for Seraphim in Silverlake, Espergale, and The Tomato Jungle.

Working title of Chapter IV/4 is "Scorched Earth".

I have a question for everyone since we did a skip of about six months into the fray of combat in Praetoria.

How would we all feel writing majorly for Larrel, Melody, and Caerus in this chapter on their hunt for Seraphim? Fox had the very clever idea of having the Eidolon inhabit a human-like shell and be skilled beyond any mortal in combative means (and since we saw how Seraphim was born in the last chapter--or will revisit Melody piecing together how he was born to avoid spoilers--he would have a firm grasp over militant force and magics.

And...my final note is that the planet finally has a name. You can thank @Rosendorn for it if you want, but the worlds of Mana, Aether, and Ley now take place on the world of Laniakea.

Eeeeveryone ( @Rydia @TheSilverFox @soundofmind @Sheyren ) I'd like to show you some new notes that deviate a bit from my original plans with Seraphim the Eidolon...and Ophanim, who we currently know as Melody.

Seraphim & Ophanim

1. We see the first dance between Seraphim and Melody.
2. Their conversation is so gentle, though threatening in subtext.
3. When describing him, Melody will leave out the details that made him seem soft to her, gentle, warm.
4. We witness the angel healing wounded Gatteau soldiers through visions of Melody at night.
5. Each night she dreams of another dance with him, with their bond growing stronger.
6. When Larrel leads the confrontation against him in Gatteau, before the final blow can be struck, Melody freezes Larrel and Caerus to allow him to escape.
7. Melody is taken to Tynan and Fyfa for questioning, with the brand of Heretic dangling in front of her.
8. During her hearing and sentencing, Seraphim storms the House of the Judiciary to save Melody.
9. Her utmost love for Seraphim imbues her with power--that of an Eidolon--and we witness the birth of Ophanim.
10. After their escape fades to black, Valon's camp will find Melody in the Burning Valley, frozen, pouring a font of Mana from her being.
