Hey @Desdemona just one suggestion. Each tribute seeing every single one of the thousands that would've had to vote them in, and having those thousands of names read out would be...impractical, to say the least. Perhaps a random selection of about a dozen names are read out, and the same amount face their chosen tribute before they are sent away? Just a thought.

That could be the case if any tribute would receive a thousand or so votes but seeing as there are thousands of children I don't see the winner getting more than, say, fifty votes. It is up to you to decide how many votes you get. If it's more than 30 we can apply what you say. And besides, this sort of drama is what the Capitol lives for. There is no shortage of time to spend on.this.

Or the boxes could count digitally with every slip. Just a suggestion..
