365 Days of Life Through a Lens

Soooo I'm not a photographer by any means, but I enjoy taking pictures of places and things, and @Deanie's lovely thread inspired me to make my own. We'll see how this goes! I won't be doing themes - halfway because I'm too lazy, halfway because I think I'd fail if I had to stick to a theme. >>

This will just be one photo every day of something I think is beautiful of the nature around me... of which I will explain what and where it is.

This picture is just so I can figure out how this all works. It's of an old sailing ship in the bay by the ocean close to where I live.

Day 1

This is a train trestle (that how it's spelled?) over a small creek I found today while coming home from work. I thought it was pretty, so took a picture.

Day 2

A daffodil I saw while at work.... Spring is here earlyyy <3

Day 3

Just a picture of a field I thought was pretty, but if you look waaaay in the background, you can see the foothills of the Cascade Mountain Range.

Day 4

Basically a filler picture.... It's a holly tree growing in our backyard

Day 5

The Willamette River! One of my favorite views of it.

A view of the rapids from a tree that went over the creek. Beautiful tree.... Half of it grew up - the other half split when still small and grew over the creek. That must have been 50 years ago because the tree is HUGE.

A picture of the forest I walked through today.

This lake is literally right out my driveway. xDD If you look waaaay in the back there, you can see three peaks in the distance. They're called the Three Sisters
