I want to let everyone know that you can start getting your first day posts in. However, since not everybody has posted which classes they're going to be in (12 people have so far, though) then just keep that mind. The first day of classes stuff isn't going to be anything but paperwork and going over handbooks and stuff etc. how classes work, stuff like that. Also, I need to tell you guys how power development classes will work.
Power development obviously depends on your power because they're all different. So, because of this, this class is going to be very individual. People with similar powers will be grouped together (mental abilities, Cora, Lila, Aaron, etc.) and then people with elemental abilities will be grouped together. Some people won't get grouped, I will be posting the groups for 3rd and 4th block. Essentially, the overall superviser's power is he can conform to and manipulate the powers and abilities to people around him. He can mimic this power and he is also immune to everybody else's because of this. So because Jay can turn invisible he can see Jay, Cora's hallucinations won't work on him, etc.
So the instructor will assign a book to each student on their power, how to control this power since all powers are affected by emotion, and how to strengthen it as well as how to use it for good. The individual groups (elemental) will be manned by another teacher that has a power in that category. So for this year, the elemental teacher might be a water or air user, etc. it just depends. The overall supervisor will be there if a student gets stuck to the point that their group oversee-er can't help them, or if they aren't in a group and they need help.
Each student will be graded based on their level of improvement and effort. For example, Cora has a really hard time controlling her power, she won't be graded harshly for that versus someone like Jay who has really great control. Instead, because Cora would have a more difficult time reaching those baby steps of reaching more control, she'd be graded highly for that. But Jay would have to make a bigger accomplishment for a good grade because it's easier for him.
For exams, they will be graded individually, I will explain how that works later. Also, there will be practice rooms outside of the normal, huge classroom with practice dummies that are sound, fire and explosion proof. The practice rooms also come equipped with monitors for mental ability people and these monitors measure the intensity of the power being enacted and will also display visual things like hallucinations. So yeah... any questions?
