You know, ଳjellyfishଳ can't swim or shine on their own, but once they absorb light from around them, they're able to shine for themselves! So maybe...I can, too! If I'm around you, maybe I'll be able to shine, too? -

Hi Ms. A! I'm writing an article for the newspaper on the MAP test, and it'd be great to talk to you about your opinions on it. Could I stop by during lunch sometime this week? Thank you! Meenal
Funky stuff people who speak different language then their native do (no, “Sometimes it’s hard to switch back haha” isn’t good sentence in your story about bilingual character aka I just read it in a book and now I’m hyped) - repeat word in native language when can’t remember word in the other one (especially happens when person isn’t fully bilingual) - just dump words in native language and hope that they mean something similiar in other language (bonus points if it doesn’t) - it’s pretty common that sometimes we just say things in native language, especially when it’s stuff like sorry, bless you, be careful…everything you say fastly and without thinking can sometimes switch ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - using wrong sentence structure for a moment, realising it, fastly changing rest of sentence and hoping that it will make normal sense - coming from one language to other smoothly isn’t that easy. Not everyone can do it without blinking an eye. - using slang/idioms from one language in other! (it happens more often then you might think) - cringing when mispronunciation - little proud face after saying long/weirdly pronouncable stuff correctly Feel free to add more!
