Opening Madame speaker and fellow delegates, my name is Wilson Raybould. I would first like to say that we are on the unceded territory of the Semiahmoo, Katzie and Kwantlen First Nations. I am an Independent member of parliament and a strong advocate for the rights of all Indigenous peoples. I come here today to present a plan for all First Nations living on reserves. Those whose rights have been ignored and are now living in dilapidated houses and have contaminated water coming into their homes. Thank you for this opportunity to discuss and debate these important issues.
Closing Madame speaker and fellow delegates, thank you for this opportunity to debate and discuss these wonderful solutions. I hope that Canada will recognize the needs of all Indigenous peoples and take action. I can now say with confidence that all Indigenous people’s lives will be improved for the better. Again, thank you for this wonderful opportunity to debate and discuss such important issues.
