@15253: There are some things I'd like to point out though. The UNSC wouldn't dream of destroying Forerunner tech. They didn't even destroy the Halos they found, wanting to take anything it could offer. So rather than find and destroy, they would find and secure. And secondly, the Covenant disbanded. The current group serving the Didact is known as the Didact's hand.
