One Aviti Arcanist coming up. But I do have a question about how things work on Vashna. What is the class system like there? What's their culture? How do people interact with one another? Blah blah blah questions questions questions.

I'm trying to write her History but it's hard because I get get a grip on where she grew up. Meh.

Vashna is under two tiers of rule. On the top there is Vashna Aria, the head of the city-state and royalty. Beneath her are the High Pontiffs. Priests and Priestesses have high claims in the affairs of state. The Aviti don't particularly treasure military force, so the bottom layer of society is the soldiery. Above that is the merchant society, then religious affairs.

Despite this, Evangelism is frowned upon because the church of Rerenega is very introverted.

For an Arcanist, I'd say your best bet is to go 1/2 merchant family, 1/2 church. That's where the magistrate would likely lie.

Malek's Spell Four is

Elyn's fourth spell is

Ripple

Damage dealt by the targeted attack is distributed across the party proportionately to their defense as opposed to the attack's intended target.

And my answer to whether or not I want you to have a single-handed mace or two-handed mace depends on whether you're going Paladin, Templar, or Revenant when you ascend your class.

If you're doing Revenant, then I'd prefer you to have a two-handed mace, but a free hand until lv15 isn't ridiculous.

Paladins and Templars, though, need the shield for protect spells. But from the feel of your character, I think you're going Revenant. xD

Guardian

Paladin
When a Guardian makes the life choice to strengthen his defensive spiritual powers, he takes on the mantle of the Paladin, a class which was believed extinct upon the fall of the human race. However, in recent years, the gift of the spiritual soldier has returned to loyal guardians, and the Paladin has emerged once again through the training of spiritual shields.
Templar
When a Guardian makes the choice to strengthen his connection with the spiritual world, his prayer life must multiply tenfold. Wholely connected with the spiritual side of the world, the Templar is a gifted healer who utilizes the spirits of himself and comrades to heal wounds and bolster defenses. While Oracles and Scholars may bicker about the superiority of their healing, the Templar is completely at peace with their position as the quiet, soulful heart of the party.
Revenant
The Revenant is not something one may attain by training or prayer. The powers of the Revenant come from passing through the gate of eternity and returning - by whatever means - to the physical world. This juggernaut of offensive spiritual power is created by fate, and not by study. True to the nature of the Revenant, not much is known about their power - as no one can study them.

@Holofernes, @BiscuitsBatchAvoy, @Tuesday: cast your lot for the spell shard enhancement that dropped from Jawd'ea.

Spread: Modifies a single-target spell to cause its entire effect to hit another target. This enhancement works for damaging attacks, damaging spells, healing spells, buffs, and debuffs.

For Malek, I Pass, rolling a 0.

If you choose to Roll, then I will roll a d20 to find the result. The player with the highest roll takes the enhancement. If you choose to Pass, you will roll a 0 and be excluded from the pool. In case you don't know, a d20 is a twenty-sided die often used in tabletop games. My personal d20 is sapphire blue. Well, my whole set is. Anyway.

If only one person bids for the enhancement, they will automatically take it. Once I open the pool for bids, you will have 48 hours to cast your lot. Please be alert to the DT during this time so that we can weave the allotment into the story seamlessly. If at any time you need further explanation, I'll be happy to answer any questions.

My personal insights on Spread say that it would be best in the hands of Diana or Elyn. Malek would be hard to write with it due to short swords not cleaving well on their own - even though he has two and can cleave very easily. For Gafna, I'd say that you'd have to write her firing two arrows at once, consciously, or having a shot ricochet.
