It's my favourite thing-
Uncovering the wrinkles on your face,
Discovering the frown lines left in haste.
I can almost taste
Your anger from forty years ago,
Like in the tears that flow

---And I can smell the regret---

Dont you forget;
You give your own game away,
Whichever game you're trying to play.
Thatjoli sourire , my love,
It is but a masque, my dove,
My pigeon-
That outline in the haze.
Forget not my constant gaze.

That is what it is.
Constant.
Yes, constant.

That is what is is.
That is what it is, maybe?

I liked it, the wording was nice and the lines the perfect length. I'm not good at critiquing lyrics or poetry, but this one caught my eye so I'm wingin' it. The words were perfectly chosen, though I couldn't grasp what the subject was.
“It's necessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live.”
― Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte Cristo

You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements, technological advances, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the super states that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace.
— Rod Serling
