Those who have pre-applied will be tagged, but as of today, the storybook is open to new applicants. To prevent cast bloating, there is a limit of 8 student slots and 8 faculty slots. To qualify for a faculty slot, you must have participated in an Academy in or before 2012. Those who qualify for staff positions are: @Lauren2010, @StellaThomas, @Rosendorn, @Jolt, @chibibo, @Nutty, @Isha, @Skins, @Shearwater, @LowKey, @Holofernes, @Hannah, @Jagged, @Octave, @Aet%20Lindling, @JabberHut, @Kyllorac, @ScarlettFire. Students Students in The Sixth Academy (henceforth known as 6c6) are in their SECOND year of education at The Academy, so even if you are a 'new' student, you have undergone a term over the summer - or have some exception that allows you to enter your second year. This allows that there may be other Academies For Heroes-In-Training elsewhere in different universes. In fact, while 4c4 and 5c5 took place in an Academy on its own planet, 6c6 will take place on Earth, nestled south of Albany, New York. Of course, it's very difficult for normal people to find The Academy. Some may even say it's impossible. You can thank the Headmistress for the new tech. You will not be held to a visible class schedule, but instead will be graded on your performance during missions. Classes are still taken, but are more background than the previous year. Due to an elevated level of on-campus shenanigans, Professor L'Roth has been requested to roam the halls and report all findings to the Headmaster's Office. The Headmaster's Office has received a formal petition from the Organization for Lalafell Justice that all potatoes must remain in the cafeteria at all times. That means dormitories, gym floors, and science labs are off-limits. That includes your lab, Professor West. Your "potato-based research" can wait another year. 7. @Lauren2010 I'm not sure Dove would've gone kicking and screaming so much as once she found out Bri was going to have the Academy on Earth, near people, with Bri and all her toys not to mention students, she volunteered for the safety of everyone involved (but will bring up the fact there are far too many explosions involving the headmistress of the school every chance she gets).

For faculty, you can do either/or. Personally, I don't remember anything about Liz (and I don't think Alex in Redux interacted with her) so maybe someone new would be nice.

Also, it's worth noting that the faculty storyline will be completely filler and fluff and comedy with one underlying story about a romance sequel. So a heavy/dark character probably won't fit well.

@QueenAnne --> We're trying to avoid the Loki overload like last time, and Aria's already taken a Loki descendant. You're welcome to join! Just remove:

1. Loki
2. Mind Control

and adjust

3. her turning to a mermaid

to full control - and give her an intermediate form so that she's not just a fish floundering on dry land. She needs to have usefulness in normal combat, so off the top of my head I'd suggest Storm Control. If she's a descendant of a Siren type she could have elevated strength or agility.

I mean, I was going to make her Ariel, and without a voice she has no song, and without a song she has no mind control.
And do you want me to give her the ability to control turning into a mermaid in water (because that's the only time she does turn into a mermaid).
And I assume that when you say Loki, you mean all Asgardians related to him, right? (Because Isi was Thor's daughter, not Loki's.)

EDIT: When I say make her Ariel, I don't mean to make her Ariel. Just take away her voice. And she had storm control from her father, but even w/o Thor, I think I can keep that and just leave her the daughter of a siren.

Oooh, okay. Sorry, there was just a LOT of Asgardian hoopla in #5 and it was not pleasant. xD

If she takes Storm control from Thor then I'm okay with it. With the Mermaid control, I think it would be a better angle if she could control which aspects of fish she could take on. Like bioluminescence, SONAR senses - and Mermaid fighting skills like claws that are useful for combat or teeth for biting.

Basically I want her to be useful on the battlefield! Just looking out for how much fun you can have here. xD Or else you could get pretty agitated being useless on a mission (because I know I would be).
