If all goes well with the character approvals, we should be starting on Tuesday, February 10th at midnight PST.

Start talking to your fellow writers about possible character connections now so you can get a feel for what you want to do and what direction you'd like to take.

I'm hoping to post a couple setting primers here in the next couple days so you can get a feel for the world they live in.

Added the following character template to the list of options:

"- The Priest: The King, being a devout man, would not allow his group to be without a representative of the Morninglord, Lathander. This character is likely a Priest, or a Cleric. A Paladin (Holy Warrior) might also be an option, as long as they are a fanatical follower of Lathander. Note - see me if you'd like to adopt this character and I'll give you the information regarding this particular deity."

We have more people than I had originally intended - this allows me to expand the cast a bit.

Ooh I'd love to do the priest! (Will spend the rest of the day working on a character, but I need to have a role for him / her first) Is that OK?

Absolutely - write up a character and when she/he's approved I'll the strike the role out.

That being said, please note that you need not receive a role from me to make a character. Make a character that does whatever you want him/her to do as a profession. I do not build your characters for you - you grace my storybook with the presence of your creation.

Um, will my character start of, or will they hire him because he is the guide, is it ok, if I portray that in my part?

He'll be expected to attend the audience with the rest of the expedition. He's one of the local guides that was mentioned by Duchance.

Ecirahs is apparently incapacitated, so I've opened up one more spot for this storybook. Everyone, feel free to invite someone - please let me know when you do, so I can take your recommendation under advisement.

(Furthering on that, @Ego, I got a hold of Ecirahs and she said if someone wants her place, give it to them, cause she doesn't have a computer anymore. So there you go!)

Hello everyone.

I've posted the next segment of the Storybook. As indicated, your next few posts should take us through Duchance's briefing of your characters, or perhaps the conversations your characters have in the Main Hall, before Duchance gets there.

Use this opportunity to interact with your characters, maybe do a little character building with others. I'm a firm supporter of co-writing, so please - do so.

Lumi, Niebs, we've spoken about your characters - feel free to use some creative license there.
