I've decided that I quite like my own avatar, which I made a long time ago as a symbol for use in my DnD campaigns. Then I decided, hey, why should I be the only one? I'm willing to, if you give me a word, even a stanza, something short, translate it into similar runes.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

Wow, that's really cool. I'll need to find something for you to translate...but yeah, I'll think about it.

If you don't mind my asking, what do the runes on your avatar mean?

I too would like to have you do a job. I would like to have r4 with teal letters and a black background.

Hm, no interest in having one, but may I ask for a guideline on this rune set up of yours so i can attempt to mimic it. I would like some practice in symbol art given I have never been really good at it.

I said the guidelines of the ruins, not what your using.

Where do you get those symbols.

They are tolkiens variation on the runes used by anglo-saxon stonecarvers. More authentic and accurate runes can be found, and they are called rune stones, or Elder Futhark runes. They feature straight lines, mainly, so as to be easier to carve. I like tolkiens runes, but they differ only a little.

Hey, I'm a Fantastic Cartographer(Someone who draws Fantasy maps, not someone who's really good at it!), and one of the countries on my map, Roth, is the kingdom of the dwarves. Could I have the word Roth in black letters and white background? Thanks!

Hey @EthanHoover, just letting you know Methrirr hasn't been on since... um. 2014ish, probably won't get any responses here. Check this place out instead: viewforum.php?f=452 There are active artists here who are trying to cut some deals for art.

Yep, I noticed that a few minutes after I posted, but I thought I might as well leave it. Thanks for the link, though, it should prove helpful!
