Well, how about the Goosebumps shows, or ParaNorman? Even an old cheesy zombie movie works.

Thanks! If it were TV shows, too, I would suggest one of the Phineas and Ferb Halloween specials. They're really funny and spooky at the same time.

Sinister did get me holding on to my seat for a bit (as well as constantly slapping the arm of my friend).

I actually saw Stephen King's miniseries adaption of 'The Shining' not long ago. He made it because he (somehow) hates the Kubrick masterpiece. It's weird how terrible it was though. I consider King the master of horror, yet this was completely void of horror. Four and a half hours of bore. Miniseries not recommended!

Sweeney Todd and Hocus Pocus have been my tradition ever since they came out, not respectively. :P

A few years ago, my mom said that I NEED to see Rocky Horror Picture Show. I think she forgot the rather mature concept of the movie. Good thing she didn't show it to little 8-year-old me!

Anyway, I'm in the middle of watching The Addams Family for the first time! I think I'm going to be Wednesday for Halloween!

Anyway, I'd like to add Van Helsing to the list.

Being a fan of both the original 'Psycho' (1960) as well as the shot-for-shot remake from 1998, it was pretty cool to find out that one of my favorite directors Steven Soderbergh had done a weird experiment with it.

Seeing as both films are completely identical, save for one of them having color and different actors, he decided to edit both of them together. It's actually a pretty interesting watch:
