guess i'm a little late
i was busy trying to figure out what is yws all about
But I didn't get a perfect answer
so can anyone tell me what is it all about? Is it just about sharing your writings or something else?

Hey! Welcome to the site! Basically the point of this is to review other people's works. The longer the review, the more points you get. Once each work gets two reviews, it is out of the green room!

When you get points you can use them in one of three ways. A) Buy a gift for someone else. B) Donate points to someone else. And C) Publish a work.

Each work costs 250 unless there is a high volume alert (in other words the green room is packed) and the cost doubles to 500.

At the end of every month there is a review day which is almost always preceded by a free publishing day.

If you are interested in blogging or storybooking (RPing) you can check those out as well. Everything else can pretty much be found in the forums. I hope this helped!
