Will you wear a costume on Halloween?

It's October, which means Halloween at the end of the month! In my theatre group, people take Halloween super seriously and start preparing their costume for the next year right after the party (I'm not one of them though). We have a Best Costume contest and the same guy has won it I don't know how many times in a row. Last year he dressed up as a Ghostbuster and had actually built a backpack/equipment that would light up and make a noise. Anyway, what's your opinion on Halloween? A bit of fun or an overly commercialised holiday that has lost its original meaning?

Halloween is so off point these days _-_ It's ridiculous that people celebrate it still with all these 'beliefs' they have. It's just a dumb game now; kinda like Christmas.
