(Grown-ups can answer this question too ;))

Simple question that sometimes we overlook: what do you want to be when you grow up?

A lot of people on-site want to be writers - are you among their ranks? Or are you a bit hipster and are planning a totally different life for yourself?

A lot of you probably know already that I am studying to be a doctor. I'm three years through my five year training so almost theeeere. I'd like to be a hospital doctor (although everyone I know thinks I'm going to be a country GP), and my favourite specialties to work in would be neurology (nervous disorders like stroke, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis), oncology (cancer), or psychiatry (mental illness). But I haven't made up my mind that far yet!

So what about you guys?

Well, I have quite a few things in mind (though they're all fairly different)
1.Author (of course!) However, I know that's not 100% going to happen, so if that doesn't work out
2.Journalist
3.Lawyer...yes, I may even study law if it interests me in high school. :D

I'm studying Computer Science.

But I'm open to writing. Or business-ownership. Or both. Or maybe taking over YWS one day? :P

Um... When I was six years old I wanted to be a nurse. That was my goal up until I was eight.

Then I joined a fanfiction website in hopes that JK Rowling would see my "fantastic" and "supreme" Harry Potter stories. (Still eight at the time.) So, my goal was to get noticed and become a professional author.

Now, I am planning to go to college studying nursing and writing. Nursing being my major. So, if my writing never gets published, I have a fallback job that can support me.

When I was younger I wanted to be a teacher by day and an astronaut by night (my logic was that space is dark, therefore I can only go into space at night).

But now? Hmmm, I was thinking journalism, or law, or something to do with geography, or something in languages I REALLY DON'T KNOW D:
Someone told me there's a girl out there, with love in her eyes and flowers, in her hair.

I don't know how to do spoilers so....CHEESY ALERT!
I want to be a good person. And also successful. Which, if you think about it, could be the same thing if I'm successful at being good or good at being successful.

You can definitely be both!

Also, don't worry guys, when I was younger, I wanted to be a penguin and a dentist. So no childhood ambition sounds embarrassing to me!

I would like to get into publishing. As a copy editor, a regular editor, or even maybe an agent.
