I have a question for @methrirr123 and @TheWanderingWizard: Is alright if Gzomrflt is now a Goblin Fortress? (At the moment, all of my plans are riding on it being that way.) Here is how I plan my characters' stories to play out at the moment:

Diánterrus
:!: After leaving the bandit camp, he and his companions, led by the goblin Dominic had turned into a rat in the very first post, head for the goblins' bridge. Once they arrive at the bridge, the goblins agree to take Diánterrus and Co. to Gzomrflt via a series of underground tunnels. (These tunnels were excavated by the goblins after they claimed and fortified Gzomrflt, which is now the goblins' strongpoint in the surrounding areas.) After finally arriving at Gzomrflt, Diánterrus and Co. prepares for their confrontation with everyone else in the SB. Soon thereafter, Dominic's and Jorgen's parties show up and engage the goblins together.
:!: During the resulting battle, Diánterrus, Oqrol and Dresdan each face off against their respective opponents. While Dominic is occupied with Dresdan, Diánterrus briefly engages Kevin and then Sarris in a duel, beating both and attempting to escape with an unconscious Sarris. Annette and Xander, however, notice Sarris is gone and then pursue and engage Diánterrus. Diánterrus barely manages to defend himself against the duo and desperately tries to escape, but Kevin has recovered in the meantime and has a bone to pick with the Ollemcrat. Dresdan notices Diánterrus' distress, disengages Dominic, and snatches the two Ollemcrats from amidst the throng. They then flee the fortress and hightail it into the surrounding forest

Oqrol
:!: Oqrol's journey is the same as Diánterrus' up to the point where they reach Gzomrflt. While he instructs Diánterrus in Combat Magic and prepares himself for battle, Renalf's captors arrive at the fortress and hand their two prisoners over to him. Immensely pleased with himself, Oqrol announces that he wants to challenge Renalf to a duel - a duel everyone at the fortress is free to witness. Just as the duel is about to start, Dominic's and Jorgen's parties assault the fortress.
:!: In the resulting confusion, Renalf escapes and rushes to Roco. Oqrol follows and engages Renalf in a final duel. The result of this duel is entirely up to @r4p17, I just have one request: make it memorable. Don't let Oqrol be hit by one spell and then be defeated, like last time.

Dresdan
:!: Up to the point where the battle begins, Dresdan's experience is the same as that of Diánterrus and Oqrol.
:!: Once the battle starts, Dresdan leaves Diánterrus and searches for Dominic. When he finally finds the Elvish Wizard, they engage in a long and fierce duel. Dresdan has learned from his previous skirmishes with Dominic and beats the Wizard, but just as he is about to finish Dominic off, he notices Diánterrus is outnumbered and in great peril. Choosing friendship above vengeance, he saves Diánterrus, collects Sarris, and escapes into the surrounding forest.

And there you have it. The above is only a rough idea of how the battle will go, and it can definitely undergo changes - especially since all of the other characters are involved in making the events come to pass. For the story to play out as I have told it, the following needs to happen:
:!: Renalf and Roco need to be captured and taken to Gzomflt. @r4p17 was the one who suggested it in the first place, so there should be no problem here, unless @methrirr123 and @TheWanderingWizard object to having Gzomrflt occupied by goblins.
:!: Gamleor then finally returns with his elves and the healers, only to find Renalf and Roco have been captured. They then track the goblins to Gzomrflt and prepare an assault.
:!: Meanwhile, @methrirr123's Jorgen, Kollek and @Aurora99's Caioliss have finally reached Gzomrflt, only to encounter their greatest obstacle yet. They then join with Gameleor and Co.
:!: @TheWanderingWizard's, @TakeThatYouFiend's and @NicoleBri's characters have in the meantime escaped from the CCoD and found themselves very near to Gzomrflt. The three parties then come together and plan a joined assault on the fortress. They somehow discover the goblins' underground tunnels and decide to launch the assault from there.
:!: Once the battle starts, the three parties will each follow their own objectives. Jorgen, Kollek and Caioliss will probably fight against the tide of goblins in order to reach the heart of the Fortress, since the goblins will not have discovered the Quill or any of the other hidden treasures. Do hostile faeries join the battle against Caoiliss? Is the Quill still there? It is up to @methrirr123 and @Aurora99 to spice up this part of the story and decide how it plays out.
:!: About Dominic, Sarris, Xaviere, Kevin and Annette I am not too sure. Dominic and Sarris would obviously like to proceed further into Gzomrflt for their own reasons, but Dominic is engaged by Dresdan. I don't know if Annette and Xander will have been returned to their bodies yet, so they will probably stick together and try to keep the goblins away from Dominic, Kevin and Sarris. Sarris may or may not still have amnesia, so Kevin will probably want to keep an eye on him. However, Diánterrus shows up, beats him, and kidnaps Sarris. Annette and Xander, and later Kevin, then go after him. After Dresdan saves Diánterrus and captures Sarris, I am lost. Annette, Xander and Kevin can then either chase after the two, continue fighting goblins, or return to Dominic's side. Dominic can then decide to either pursue Diánterrus and attempt to rescue Sarris, or Dominic can decide to follow his original goal and proceed further into Gzomrflt. The latter could make for an interesting plot twist, but it's up to you.
:!: Gamleor and his allies will probably fight through the fortress in search of Renalf and Roco. Renalf can then either have beaten Oqrol by the time they find him, or they can save him from Oqrol, either catching him by surprise or killing him once and for all after a lengthy struggle. All of this, including Roco's survival, since he's still dying, is up to @r4p17.

All participants of the storybook ought to be satisfied by this suggestion, but it is still a suggestion, so if there are any objections, please raise them - this is a discussion thread, after all, so let's discuss!

It would make sense that the ruins of Khazad Grom are occupied by goblins, as this is a common occurence. It also makes sense that they would be unable to get to the vault in which the quill is locked.

Oh yes. There will be blood. :D

There will most definitely be one very powerful, very scary, and very angry evil faerie queen one Caioliss refuses to kill Kollek.

Here's what I'm hoping will happen: They fight against goblins, blah, blah , blah ;), and get the quill.

Of course, Queen Maeve (evil power-hungry fae queen) notices that Caio isn't killing anybody, upon which she sends Killian (her captain of the guard who's already made a few appearances) to force Caio to kill Kollek. He starts to do so and then dies, since Caio is like his sister blah, blah, blah, sentimentality... and starts painfully, slowly dying, because of his oath to do as his queen asks or die.
Upon seeing this, Maeve deigns to force Caioliss herself. She enters this world, causes a bunch of explosions, magical fight- tries to command Caioliss to kill Kollek and fails, because Caioliss is her heir and she's already been assigned the task of taking the Quill and killing Kollek.
Aodhan (who Caioliss was once in love with and was previously the heir to the faerie throne) shows up, it is revealed that he's been plotting to kill the queen and crown himself king. He wants to kill both Cai and the queen so that he can be king. Can Jorgen or Kollek or both kill him? @methrirr123
After Aodhan dies, Cai manages to entrap the queen in a circle of salt. Queen Maeve can't hurt anybody for at least a few hour. After that, Maeve's magic will overpower the badly drawn border of salt, and she can kill everyone again.
Unfortunately, they can't kill the queen, because as soon as that happens, Cai will have to kill Kollek, there and then. Even if she doesn't want to.

Things that can happen from there:
1. Maeve can be killed anyway- her power flows into Caioliss, and Kollek runs away or kills Caioliss. I don't like this one, for obvious reasons.
2. Caioliss is trapped inside a circle of salt (she's not as powerful as Maeve, so as long as the salt is thick enough, she'd never be able to get out, and then Maeve is killed) and Caioliss is trapped for the rest of her life.
3. Caioliss outwits the queen into abdicating her throne, which makes Caioliss queen without killing Maeven(in doing so, she still gets Maeve's power). Killian lives because he isn't going against the wishes of the new queen (Caioliss). Caioliss then releases Maeve, who is now mortal and has no magic- and is therefore not a threat.

I like option 3 best. Mainly because almost everyone wins.

What do the rest of you say?

Yes, I prefer option three as well, @Aurora99

@JamesHunt, I don't think that Oqrol would care about taking Roco with him. I think that the best option would be for the goblins to meet up with your characters on their way back to Gzomriflt. Oqrol spots Renalf and takes him.

While Renalf was still with Roco he was able to keep him alive by using what little healing powers he has, but after he is taken by Oqrol he is unable to heal Roco. When they arrive back in the fortress then Roco nearly dies, but Gamleor is able to reach him in time to save him after the battle. (This hinges on the assumption that it doesn't take very long to get to Gzomriflt).

As for the duel, I will be sure to make it epic. To be honest the last time Renalf faced Oqrol I didn't write how it happened so I will try to do a better job of that this time.

I haven't decided yet whether Renalf will defeat Oqrol by himself or not. I think that it would be better for Gamleor to save Roco before he saves Renalf. It could make for a moment of suspense when Oqrol is about to kill Renalf and then Gamleor and Co. would arrive on the scene.

The only drawback to defeating Oqrol is that it leaves Renalf with no major enemies. It seems a little bit strange to end a storybook so quickly. This may prompt us to think about what is going to happen after the Battle for Gzomriflt.

I think that it would be interesting to have Lord YellowFeather to make an appearence at some point if we are to go beyond Gzomriflt since he was the one who started Renalf on his adventure, but that is just an idea.

@Aurora99, I think you should indeed go with option 3.

@r4p17, I definitely agree on that. After Gzomrflt, I plan on letting Diánterrus and Dresdan take Sarris to a city south of Eisentower (the town south of Alonza, the town through which everyone passed first) and hand him over to the governor. As it turns out, the governor is the puppet of his advisor - a very powerful sorceror. Said sorceror makes the mistake of refusing to pay Diánterrus, so Diánterrus spites him by freeing Sarris and escaping with him.

As illustrated by the above paragraph, I have planned my characters' ahead of the events at Gzomrflt, so I think it would be great if everyone else did as well. Therefore, it would be perfect if this Lord YellowFeather made an appearance after the battle.

If we're continuing on after, I think Cai would want to find her real parents.

I don't think we should continue too much either, maybe plan a short epilogue. If we finish though, we should plot for a sequel.

Well, I don't see why we have to quit after the battle. We just need to do some brainstorming and come up with a plan for how to continue the story. I don't want to quit this soon

The following is a rough outline of what will be happening to my characters after the battle:

 Renalf will defeat Oqrol with he help of Gamleor. I won't go into much detail about the battle, partly because I haven't figured out the entire sequence of events in much detail and partly because you wouldn't really need to know that anyways, even if I had it planned out, and I will reveal it in one of my subsequent posts. After this he will leave Gzomriflt and head back for home. I believe that Diánterrus will be following the same path to Alonzo as Renalf for most of the way so Renalf will travel with him and his companions until he reaches Evincourt where he will meet Lord YellowFeather.

 Roco wil be well again after he is healed by the priests of Obad-Hai. He will join in the fray with the rest of Gamleor's elves, but he will be killed in the battle with some goblins who waylay them. He will then be burned on a funeral pyre according to the custom of his people.

 Gamleor will go back part of the way with Renalf and then part ways back to his own home and not be seen again for some period of time, though he may show up again.

Methinks we'll see how it goes... we'll have the fight, and go from there, see how it works out. :-)

@r4p17, it sounds fine to me, but there might be one tiny problem - Oqrol assisted Diánterrus in his endeavours, and vice versa, so would Renalf not be hostile (or at the very least, suspicious) towards Diánterrus? Also, Diánterrus and Sarris would probably ride Dresdan, so can he catch up with them fast enough in order to accompany them? If you can answer yes to these two questions, then their travelling together will be a welcome plot twist.

Perhaps Renalf could be tracking Diánterrus with Dominic.

With all due respect, I believe that it is time for someone to step up and make a post. I would rather not make another post because I don't want to get too far ahead of the game. Methrirr and Aurora's characters are already at Gzomriflt, so it would be nice for @TheWanderingWizard and/or @NicoleBri to make a post. I will try to write one up as soon as I can.

EDIT: I will be traveling tomorrow. This will mean that I may not have access to the Internet so if I don't post, that is why.
