Alright, this is a conflict that I want to solve immediately, before we continue. It is clear now that the quest is to retrieve the Quill of the Dwarves. The question now is: who gets it in the end? There has to be a winner, and I think it should be Kollek, and not just because he's my character. So, there are a few ways we can go about doing this. I have a few ideas, which I will now proceed to list.
Fight for it.
This would involve us all coincidentally coming together and brawling for the feather. Obviously, this is an undesirable option.
The Chase.
One of the PC's get's the quill, and the others chase him down and take it from him. This option could be fun, because then several PC's can have possession of the quill over the SB.
Quill is Gone!
Some or all of the PC's come to the place of the quill, only to find that it is gone, presumably stolen, possibly destroyed. The adventure was for naught, but we all learned a good lesson, right?
But, what if we know who took it? That's where this next bit becomes interesting.
Crazy powerful evil guy who overpowers PC's takes the quill as soon as it's found.
This is very self explanitory. That way, we can have a reason for the PC's to get back into the fray on the SAME TEAM. As of this moment, we have like three factions going on. I'm going to make my next post under the assumption that we all are going to converge on the quill. Keep in mind that Kollek is from this ruin, and his book will function as a key to open the gates.
So, these are some ideas. I am NOT in charge of ANYTHING you all do, nor are these the only options. This is NOT my storybook. Shoot with your ideas.

But instead of a crazy powerful evil guy, what if it's Queen Maeve (the mostly evil faerie queen hat wants to take over the world)?
Because as we discussed, she wants the quill, and Caioliss could have openly disobeyed her before they find the quill. Which means that crazy evil queen would have to get it herself?

Personally, I think that number three is the best option, but the only thing is, Renalf doesn't really care about the quill now that he has the assigned task of dealing with goblins. So while he was sort of going on for the ride beforehand, now he has something he needs to do. If he gets that done fast enough he might be interested in doing something though...

Well, I don't know what dragons you know of, but I play DnD. I own the Draconomicon. Dragons eat food and grow as a result, but they also have to age. For a while. Once the dragon is aged enough to mature, then a growth spurt occurs, where excess energy stored from eating food that would have normally been used for the breath weapon goes into the growth spurt. Again, this occurs over the course of months, perhaps a year.
There are aging potions however, and I've fought a dragon that has used age potions to mature and grow stronger. True dragons don't weaken with age.

You know that studded leather armour in films? Nobody wore that. I mean, how would metal studs improve leather armour?
