My ideas are very similar, and it's possible neither are very good, but I'm still having trouble deciding on one of them.

Idea #1
"Internet City"

There's a city that is populated entirely by human personifications of websites. People such as Google, YouTube, Tumblr, Twitter, Reddit, Imgur, deviantART, and even YWS live there and interact with each other. The storybook participants would each take a role as one of the sites, then the story would unfold from there. Villains could be things like viruses and universally recognised evils like 4chan.

Idea #2
"Food Court"

A similar idea, except instead of websites, the people would be food service chains, and the setting would be medieval fantasy.

...I just realised how incredibly stupid that sounds as I typed it.
