Counting Syllables
Syllables are segments of sound that form words. They are easier to understand as examples, so we'll start a game. The game will be played by trying to get down to 1, or up to 7 syllables. Once one of those numbers is reached go back down to 4 and start over again.

To determine if you're going up or down, count the number of letters you have in your username.

If you have an odd number of letters, you have are going down to 1 syllable.
If you have an even number of letters, you're going up to 7 syllables.

Here is an example of playing this game

Maroons: Fol-low-ing
Doctor: Re-cre-at-ing
Ray: Ex-plor-ing
Maroons: Re-duce
Doctor: De-stroy-ing
Ray: con-fuse
...

Rules:
1) You can check the syllable counters online. [Including Google]
Warning: sometimes they are inaccurate. [Dictionaries are pretty good because of the phonetic spelling at the top]
2) Allow two other users to post before you post again.
3) No bad language.
4) It is not necessary to space out your syllables as I have done in the example.

To start us off, the first four syllable word will be:

Creationist

Question: How do we go up or down? I'm not totally clear on how to do this; sorry!

@ongoeslife
You say a word with more or less syllables than the word before it.

For instance, I have 4 letters in my name, so I am trying to get up to seven syllables.

The first word had 4 syllables, Cre-a-tion-ism, so I have to come up with a word that has 5 syllables.

Re-ssus-i-ta-tion.

Now if you post again, you have to come up with a word that has 6 syllables. [Your name has an even number of letters in it.]

If we make it to 7, the next person starts out at 4 again [unless you think you can keep going]

So it'd be going up and down as each person posts (depending on the letters in their name)?
