Subplots are absolutely and perfectly fine and acceptable, but not when they involve one or two characters taking a story somewhere that has absolutely nothing to do with other members of the storybook.

I prolonged the time before a simple plot began because there are twenty-five characters in this storybook. I'm running it in an old school open style, but I have legitimate plans.

The Main Event for Issue One will be The Welcoming Ceremony, where all new Academy students are ushered onto the sports field; upperclassmen watch on from the arena-like seats. This ceremony will take place after the Science Club event, putting it at about 8pm Academy time. The Ceremony serves as a testing ground to see if the new heroes are worth taking interest in by trying them against:

The Trial, Judge, & Jury Golem 720

This bulky machine is built to withstand enormous amounts of damage. Designed by the Magical Engineer's Club, this imposing techno-wonder stands at a massive 15 meters tall. Despite being programmed to hold back against new students in The Welcoming Ceremony, The Trial, Judge, & Jury Golem 720 can--and will--knock senseless anyone who does not exercise caution during engagement.

Sorry, @Lumi! Aurora randomly brought it in for her character's development only, it was me who asked to do something with it - although I still didn't have this in mind, more like merely Loki appearing and letting Dyre know it's happening, 'cause I figured it can make Dyre all worried and distracted (because I like doing that to my characters), and make her stay at the Academy as her dad wants her to (and as I want her to).

As for the welcoming ceremony, will they be going one by one or all together, so that they can observe if they'd form a team and if they're able to work in teams/pairs and whatnot?

Also, @Aurora99. Dearie, your character should go collapse in bed now from being EVERYWHERE. Stuff can happen without Isi witnessing it, you know, even if it's Dyre/Isaac-related

That's what Isi is doing, at least until she has to change Tahl's memories tonight.

You do know you need permission of Tahl's writer to do that, right?

On another note - does anyone else want to be included in Dyre's post? I have a part with Rye and Isi at the beginning, and then DyreGuy has a scene with Isaac around the end. The girl Dyre is free after the first part. If someone wants her somewhere, speak up, please c:
