Unpublishing a work doesn't take it off YWS. It should be visible in the "Drafts" section. Unfortunately, there seems to be some sort of bug where people can view/comment on drafts.
If you want to remove something from YWS, here's what I would do 1) Save the text somewhere else (in case you change your mind). 2) Edit your work, remove all the text and write something like "Removed by author"
