I registered and went straight for the chat room, where user Dreamy suggested I introduce myself.
I'm a young man who finds happiness in comedy, so to introduce myself to you all, I'm going to pretend I'm filling out an application for the popular, hit-TV show, The Bachelor .
My name is Dylan. Born in the first quarter of 1995, I grew up (and still live) on the East Coast of Canada. I'm a bigger fellow, and since I was cursed with Asthma from birth, I've found no joy in physical activity as other kids my age, so growing up, my only outlet was my own creativity. After a recent incident, I became plagued with PTSD and Depression. No worries, however, because my creativity is my outlet, and I use that to my advantage.
My current writing interests: Occasional poetry and fictional short stories.
My current writing projects: A fan-fic novel with 55,000 words that was cut short by the incident mentioned above. Since the incident, I've had no urge to finish the novel, but in the past week, I've began a new fan-fic, which has stemmed from an idea I had about 7 months ago.
Do I have any published work? I've only published one poem on the website Booksie (a writers version of the popular DeviantArt). I'll x-post the poem in the publishing center within the next day or two probably.
Interests outside of writing: I find art in playing League of Legends, and browsing the internet for borderline-pornographic content - I believe that the naked human body is one of god's most precious gifts to the art world, but non-nude body art works just as well! Other than that, I spend most of my time asleep on my anti-depressants, refreshing my social media feed, and visiting my local Tim Hortons, where I generally find inspiration for something or other while drinking my usual.
